Cisco Router 881 Issue - Internet speed reduced to half

Dear All,

This is regarding the Cisco 881 Router. We have replaced the old Linksys router with Cisco 881. We have PPPoe Connection with 40Mbps speed. After introducing 881 router the speed is showing 18Mbps in speed test but with router and if I directly connect router it is 40Mbps.

Please suggest.

That's about right.  880 router was NEVER designed to support anything above 20 Mbps.

If you want something in the range of 40 Mbps then you need to look at 1941.
