Cisco WS-C2980G-A only shows 10/100 yet claims Gigabit?

Hello, we have a very old WS-C2980G-A that I'm trying to configure.

It says on the front it is Ethernet 10/100/1000, but when I see port speeds it only goes to 10/100 and 1000 is not an option in the IOS.

I've looked at the manual and its going over gigabit ethernet and flow control settings, but when I try to turn on flow control or make any changes, it says that feature is not available on this port. (

Does anyone know how to set up Gigabit Ethernet on these catalyst dinosaurs?  It'd be much appreciated! Thank you!

I believe the access ports are 10/100 only but the uplink ports are triple speed, i.  e.  10/100/1000.
