hi! i got a cisco 3560 with compact flash card. how do i backup my statup config and ios image into the card?

Hi Friend,
3560 is not a modular box and does not support any compact flash card and it has integrated flash on board.
You can take the backup of your IOS as well as config on tftp server.

Hi!
Sorry for my mistake, it's a Cisco 2811 Router.
It has a external compact flash card. There's a card slot at the front panel. How do i backup to the compact flash.

how do i copy a file into a folder created in the flash card? it seems that it always copy to the root.

It will be
Copy tftp: flash:/config
If you want to create a new folder/directory, then use the command:
router#mkdir flash:/config
