Hi ,

i have a problem when i'm connecting to the CNA (cisco network assistant), it asking me for password for some switches.

"password for level 15 access"

and every time its for other switch.

All switches  have the same password (70-switches).

and another problem, one switch is asking for authentication when i'm tring to add it to the community. and he wont pass even i'm positive the password is correct.

i will be happy for some help...

On the one not authenticating - do you have an "ip http authentication Local" ( or "aaa") setup?

It's part of the switch configuration.

"show run | i http"

this is what i have in my switches:

switch # show run | ?
  append    Append redirected output to URL (URLs supporting append operation only)
  begin     Begin with the line that matches
  count     Count number of lines which match regexp
  exclude   Exclude lines that match
  format    Format the output using the specified spec file
  include   Include lines that match
  redirect  Redirect output to URL
  section   Filter a section of output
  tee       Copy output to URL

i dont see "http"

can i configure it from the cna?

The "i" is shorthand for "include".

"http" is the string we want to include in the output (i.e. any configuration lines that include the string "http").
