Combining C3750 and C3750-E Switches in a Single Stack
I know that it is possible to combine C3750 and C3750-E switches into a single stack as long as the entire stack runs on either IPBase or IPServices IOS. Given that C3750-Es can also run on "Universal" IOS image 12.2(50)SE or lower--I would assume that one would need to upgrade the C3750-E switches to either IPBase or IPServices before joining the stack. Is this a correct assessment? Any insights are greatly appreciated.

I know a 3750 stack can run with different feature sets on member switches, and (as you note) you can have a stack of both 3750s and 3750Es. I haven't tried the combination of both a mixed hardware and mixed feature set stack.

This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
