           Hi there,

We are thinking to upgrate our speed with the comcast 50Mb connection and I wonder if there is a way to connect comcast cable directly into the cisco router 2921 avoiding comcast modem. As far as I know comcast modems are not very reliable. Is there is a way of doing this and what kind of int card do I need? I'm having a hard time finding info on this subject.

Thank you,

Laura

There might not be a card for your 2921.

If yours was a 2821, the hwiw-cable-d-2 might be used, but don't believe it't supported on the 2900 series.  Also, this card was docsis-2 and for 50 Mbps, you would want docsis-3.
