I am looking to upgrade my dumb switches to a Cisco 2960 switch. I wanted to check and make sure that this configuration would be supported.
I will need to setup 4 vlans on the Cisco 2960 switch, 1 for vmotion traffic, that would not have internet access, one for management traffic that would not have internet access, one for standard server traffic and one for vmserver traffic, those would both need internet access.
Would the Cisco switch work with the SMCD3G-CCR gateway ok, or would I need another router in order to do this? If so why?
