Comparable commands between CatOS and IOS

Is there a comparable command in IOS (6500) to CatOS that will power off a module? I'm sure I am just missing it. In CatOS, I can use:

set module 1 power down/up

to do a hard reset of a module.

In IOS there is:

hw-module module 1 reset

but this is just a soft reset. I need to be able to power off (hard reset) the module altogether. Is this possible?

Re: Comparable commands between CatOS and IOS

I think that will hard reset the card. It powers it down and back up which is all you can do short of reloading the switch.

hw-module reset

To reset a module by turning the power off and then on, use the hw-module reset command.

hw-module {module num} reset
