Configuration of Bridging and bvi interface

Hi,

which IOS version i need, to configure bridging on Catalyst 4506 and catalyst 3560, any link for download? How to configure the same ?

It should work with your current version of IOS. I dont remember exactly, but it was avail from early 11.x series.

The configuration of bridging and of IRB which uses the BVI are for IOS based routers. I do not believe that you can do them on your 4506 and 3560 which are switches. The switches inherently support bridging (which they identify as switching - same function but different name) and I believe that they do not support BVI.
