Hi all, Can anyone tell me how I would enable this on my router or switch, so my dhcp server can be centralised, and How could I make it so the subnet where the dhcp server sits does not recieve offers for all my scopes setup on the server ?
To answer the 2nd part of your question, the server will know the source address (vlan) of the dhcp request and hand out the appropriate address in the corresponding scope. If you are on vlan 10 you will get a vlan 10 address and so on.
