Connect a mgcp gateway trhough a vpn tunnel on a 2811

Connect a mgcp gateway though a vpn tunnel on a 2811 We have IP phones on the local network that find the call manager and work fine. However the mgcp gateway which which is setup on the 2811 cannot get to the CCM.

The CCM is on a remote network different then the phones.

Can someone help?

Make sure hostname + domain match what you have on CM. Try to ping CM from gateway and other way around to check connectivity.

MGCP use 2427 port and 2428 for channel D.
