Connected Route via BGP

Hi all. I have 3 routers. A B C

B and C are connected via BGP and all is well. A is directly connected to B. 10.11.2.1 and 10.11.2.2.

I can't get C to ping A. I've added redistribution of connected and internal. On C if run a Show IP BGP the entry is there.

Any ideas? If I need to add more info just say so.

Thanks

Re: Connected Route via BGP

Hi Jerry,

How does A learn C's route? Do you have default on A pointing to B?

You need IGP connectivity before BGP is working.  So, on C add a static route with next hop IP address being the interface of router B.  Also add a static route to A with next hop IP of router B, than try the ping again.

Hi Jerry,

Are you still having the issue, or is it resolved? Do a show IP route 'C' on A if you still having issue.
