Connecting 10GB Interface to 1GB Interface

I have 4900M with X2-10G-LX4

I need to have a link from it to 3560X GLC-SX-MM using MM Fiber Patch Cord

would this be possible??

any configuration required in 4900M to change the speed of X2-10GB-LX4 to 1GB ??

Hi,

No, you can't connect a 10Gig Fiber interface to a 1Gig interface.  However you can get a 10Gig module for the 3560X and connect both devices using 10Gig interface with MM fiber.

10 Gbps fibre optic will NOT negotiate to a lower speed.
