Connecting Cisco 6506 to Nexus 5548

We are in the process of connecting a pair of Nexus 5548's to an existing pair of 6506's. We would like to remove the need to use the spanning tree protocol and make the Nexus 5548's look like a single switch attached to the pair of 6506's. Can we use standard port channeling on 6506's to the Nexus 5548's while using a vPC link between the two 5548's to make the 5548's look like a single switch to the 6506's?

Yup. I already looked at that link/document. The difference is that I don't want to run a link/connection between the two 6506's and I don't want to run VPC on the 6506's. Take a look at the atachment that I provided. I hope that helps explain things.

Thanks
