Connecting WS-G5484 and X2-10GB-SR

Hello everybody,

Could I connect a WS-G5484 (4500) to X2-10GB-SR (6500)?

These two transceivers modules have 850 wavelenght, so it should work right?

the WS-G5484 is only 1gigabit ethernet and X2-10GB-SR is only 10Gigabit ethernet

therefore will not work
