Connection Problem Between 6513 and 3560x

I have connection between cisco 6513 core switch and 3560x. The connection is from, cisco 6513 switch with network module (WS-X6704-10GE) on slot number 11 to Cisco C3560X with network module (C3KX-NM-10G). The SFPs that used are XENPAK-10GB-LR for WS-X6704-10GE and SFP-10G-LR for C3KX-NM-10G.

The LEDs on the WS-X6704-10GE for the interfaces are amber that means its shutoff (shutdown command at interface), but when connect between these on the 3560x side the 10G port is getting up and down continuously.

Is the fiber good between these switches?  Have you tried using a different fiber patch cord or an X2 module?

Is this a direct connection between these devices or going through patch panels?

What happens if shut both sides of the connection and than no shut?

HTH

If you connect same fiber with other switch,is it working..

Configure UDLD and check once.

What is the IOS version you are running.

Below is the requirement.

transceiver modules compatibility matrix limk

Regards,

Guru

Reza, the switches are not connected directly, its going through SM fiber patch panel. With deferent patch cord and different X2 module (got 4 switch to connect) all with same result. If both sides of interface given "no shut", then it will work properly(port is up and running). What making me confused when tried this in my lab by directly connecting, there is no link LEDs active which is normal, but at site with link is shutdown on X2 side I'm getting this on the 3560x side.

Guru, I'm runing 12.2(58) SE2, so I think its not related to IOS. And I have gone through the matrix and its also fine.
