Hi,
I'm experiencing weird issue that I can no establish normal communication between CISCO6503 and HP switch.
According to Wireshark connected to HP, HP is sending ping packets but CISCO is not replying. Very rare CISCO is actually replying(best case in 1/5) but
it is very rare.
vlan 247
name Vlan_247
interface Vlan247
ip address 192.168.227.2 255.255.255.192
!
interface GigabitEthernet2/46
switchport
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport trunk allowed vlan 247
switchport mode trunk
!
Is that valid configuration ?
How can I see on which GigabitEthernet is ping sent(I can not sniff traffic on each CISCO interface) ?
On HP configuration should be OK.

Hello Guca,
That is not enough information.
If that is part of the router config can you please post the entire confguration.
Thanks,

It seems a bit strange to configure the interface on the Cisco as a trunk and to allow only a single VLAN on the trunk. Since the trunk would consider the native VLAN to be VLAN 1 it would send the frames for VLAN 247 as tagged frames. Is the HP configured to expect tagged frames on its interface?
What would be the result of configuring Gig2/46 as an access port in VLAN 247?
