CPU @ 99%

Hi Guyz,

One of my client emailed me over the last week and asked for the health check on 6509 and I found the CPU running at 99% for the last 12+ hours, I'd like to know how to deal with it and if theres anyother solution. The fans are working fine as well.

Do a show proc cpu and see what is causing the cpu to run so high.

There are various things that can cause this. Let us know the output of sh proc cpu!
