Customer needs a 12 or 16 port Cisco switch

I have a customer whom is requesting to see quotes for either a 12 port or 16 port Cisco switch.  The switch must do 10/100/1000 on each of its ports, and have the ability to do SFP uplinks.

I have searched the Cisco Web, and have also contacted Partner support.  Both efforts have proven futile.

I am able to find 10/100 switches in the SMB line and in the Enterprise line.

Does anyone know of a managed switch that will do SFP uplink, POE, 10/100/1000 that comes in port density 12 or 16?

Thanks in advance!

Kevin

Oops!  Missed the 1Gb requirement.

The answer is:  There's no 12- or 16port 1Gb switch with SFP.  The cheapest is either the 2960S-24TS or 3560G-24TS.

Not sure about Linksys product.

and have the ability to do SFP uplinks.

How many?

Look at this:  WS-C3560-12PC

There is no 16-port switch unless you are planning to purchase a network module for a router.

There are 24 port and 48 port 10/100/1000 POE 3560G with SFP uplinks.

Cisco Catalyst 3560G-24PS: 24 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports with PoE and 4 SFP-based Gigabit Ethernet ports; 1RU

• Cisco Catalyst 3560G-48PS: 48 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports with PoE and 4 SFP-based Gigabit Ethernet ports; 1RU

Thanks for verifying what I thought must be the correct answer after relentless searching!

Thanks for the ratings Kevin.

As an alternative to a general cisco.com search, have a look at the Cisco Product Quick Reference Guide. It's updated pretty regularly and is a good one-place overview of the various products.
