Data Sheet of Ethernet Module for 7206VXR

Hi,

I have a 7206VXR Router which currently has two single Ethernet port modules. I want to add more Ethernet ports to the router & Im thinking of installing

"PA-4E----4-Port Ethernet 10BaseT Port Adapter" to it.

Problem is that I cannot find the DATA SHEET of this module & I dont want to order it before readig relevant documemtation. Also note the IOS im using is

version 12.2(10c).

Regards,

Saif

Re: Data Sheet of Ethernet Module for 7206VXR

Hello Saif,

if used to connect to a LAN switch I would suggest a PA FE instead and use of vlan subinterfaces.

I remember I've used PA 4E and PA 8E ten years ago on C7500 but if I'm not wrong they are limited to half duplex mode (perhaps the PA 8E)

>> Cisco 7500 supports full-duplex mode on PA-4E.

see

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/port_adapters/install_upgrade/ethernet/pa-4e_10baset_install_config/3493over.html#wpxref54014

using a PA FE with subinterfaces is a more common choice.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
