As am new in DC , having my backgroud in routing switch, i am facing a strange problem if any one can provide a clue.I have a network as shown in the attached picture.
There are a number of servers all virtual and a SAN attached to cisco Nexus 5k.The problem is all the users in the DC campus are able to access these servers for different services. But the remote branches connecting through MPLS and vpls are unable to connect and ping. The ping actually works sometimes and drops again its intermittent. However all branches are able to ping smoothly the gateways of the servers i-e the ip addresses configured on the Core Switches.
I troubleshoot and found that even the Wan routers ASR are also having the same experience as that of branch users. The are able to ping Gateways but the servers are dropping maximum times and ping for sometime.
The ping status of these servers from the Core switches itself is ok with the source of the ping to be any interface ip of the core switches.
Hi everyone, I would like to thank you in advance for any help you can provide a newcomer like myself!
