Debug IPv6 Output

Hi guys,

Just reading through the output from the debug ipv6 command. Can anyone give me any pointers as what the following output is saying? I dont understand what the backup is actually doing.

IPv6RT0: Event: 2001:DB8:0:20::/64, Mod, owner connected, previous None

IPv6RT0: rip Test, Added backup for 2001:DB8:0:20::/64, distance 120

Cheers

RIP-NG populating the RIP-Database with a connected prefix with an AD of 120? Looks normal to me, it denotes the prefix as "backup" since the connected route (L) already won the RIB election since it has a lower AD. HTH
