What is the default mode of the interface in 3550XL switch? I have been told that in 3550 it is dynamic desirable although I thought it is access mode is the default mode for all switches. Any pointers please.

3550 has switchport mode as "Dynamic desriable " by default.Acess mode defaults to layer2 switches only.
