Default route redistributed

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to remove a redistributed default route from a branch router’s routing table automatically, when one router goes down. Example: R1 and R2 redistrubte a default route 0.0.0.0 to R3. If R1 goes down that default route is not functional but, in router R3 routing table it still exists. In R3 if I do a clear ip route the route is removed because R1 is still down. Essentially I want the function of clear ip route to initiate automatically.

Thanks
