Delete local route css11500

Hi,

we have the following routes in our load balancer:

CSS11501# show ip routes

prefix/length next hop if type proto age metric

------------------ --------------- ---- ------ -------- ---------- -----------

172.16.20.0/24 172.16.20.249 2 mgmt local -- --

54.0.0.0/24 54.0.0.100 1023 local local 11749 0

172.16.80.0/24 172.16.80.217 1024 local local 11728 0

We want to define one static route to 172.16.80.66/32 with the next hop 172.16.80.1.

When we issue the command "ip route 172.16.80.66/32 172.16.80.1", the sistem don't actualize the routing table. ?What can we do? ?Should we delete the 172.16.80.0/24 route?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Delete local route css11500

Is there the 172.16.80.1 in the routing table. If the next hop given is not int the routing table then the static route won't be installed.

Hope it helps, if so pls rate,

Krisztian
