Delpoy WLC in Routed Access Layer

I have implemented a routed access layer design. All access switches are connected to the distribution using layer 3 interfaces through EIGRP. The next step i need to deploy the WLC in the same scenario, how can i connect the AP manager and the Management interfaces using layer 3 interfaces, i.e: Peer to Peer with layer 3 interface on the distribution switch. Also how will the LWAPP see the WLC if it is in different subnet.

Create a VLAN and VSI for your WLC interfaces and any additional interfaces you're going to want to create on the WLC for your WLANs. The WLC and switch interfaces will be trunks. Something that gets a lot of people with the WLCs is the native VLAN. Remember native means *untagged* so if your WLC management interfaces are set untagged they are in the switchport's native VLAN.

As far as the controller discovery, I would use either DNS or option 43. See:
