DHCP on nexus

Hi guys ,

I have couple of questions about Nexus 7010 configuration.

how do we configure DHCP like the following example.

ip dhcp excluded-address 10.10.6.1 10.10.6.31

ip dhcp excluded-address 10.10.6.240 10.10.6.255

!

ip dhcp pool Voice

   network 10.10.6.0 255.255.255.0

   default-router 10.10.6.1

   netbios-node-type h-node

   option 150 ip 10.10.6.12 10.10.6.11

or this example

ip dhcp pool Wireless
   network 10.10.55.0 255.255.255.0
   option 43 ip 10.10.50.5     
   dns-server 10.10.50.95 10.10.10.55
   default-router 10.10.55.10
  

And is there any auto qos on nexus interfaces ?

Hi,

Nexus 7K cannot be a DHCP sever, only a DHCP relay.

From FAQ page:

Q. Can a Nexus 7000 be a DHCP server and can it relay DHCP requests to different DHCP servers per VLAN?

A. The Nexus 7000 does not support a DHCP server, but it does support DHCP relay. For relay, use the ip dhcp relay address x.x.x.x interface command.
