Hi,

I have two Vlan on my network which is deployed on several switches connected in trunk, with addresses 192.168.1.0 ( Vlan default ) and 10.0.0.0 ( Vlan2 of guests in our hotel ).

Each of this Vlan have its DHCP configured on dedicated servers.

Yesterday I have chanced on one port from "switch access vlan 2" to "switch access vlan 1" but the PC connected at this port don't acquire address of 192.168.1.0.

What's can I control ?

What's can be ?

thanks and best regards

Lorenzo

as long as the port is access port

make sure that the following command has entered on the interface level

spanning-tree portfast

also from the switch make sure u have connectivity to the dhcp server

on the dhcp server try to restart dhcp server service

on the client try to disable and enable the network connection if it is windows client from mynetwork places properties disable and enable the connection of ur ethernet
