Dhcp reservation : client-identifier dissapearing

Hi,i want to make a reservation on my dhcp.I`ve done several hundred times but this time the line "client-identifier" just dissapears when the pc is requesting the ip address.

Configuration BEFORE the DHCP REQUEST

ip dhcp pool 76test

   host 192.168.15.76 255.255.255.0

   client-identifier 0100.242c.a12e.b2

    dns-server 192.168.1.240

   default-router 192.168.15.1

Configuratio AFTER

ip dhcp pool 76test

   host 192.168.15.76 255.255.255.0

   dns-server 192.168.1.240

   default-router 192.168.15.1

As you can see the line with " client-identifier 0100.242c.a12e.b2" dissapears.

Any thoughts ?
