Hi All,
I inadvertently posted in WAN column. Is there a way to prevent erasing switch settings by holing in the MODE button? I would rather not give ability to an unsuspecting technician to nuke all my settings by holding in this button for 7 seconds.
thnx!

In global config add the line:
no setup express
This doesn't prevent wiping the config through recovery though - i.e. holding the mode button whilst power cycling the switch and then going through the recovery procedure.

Thanks much, Andy!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I saw that command before, but thought it only was for invoking the express setup.
