To avoid TCAM space filling up to 100%, we are working on disabling Netflow statistics on the couple of 6500 switches. The running IOS version is 12.2(18)SXF11. The Sup is WS-SUP720-3B.
According to the Netflow command reference (mls netflow), this can be safely disabled if some certain features are not being used.
After applying the "no mls netflow", three new commands were introduced:
no dss interface-purge
no dss range-purge
no dss mac-purge
I couldn't find any documentation which would refer to the commands above. Could you please provide any explanation regarding them and what kind of impact they have?
