do we need the license for update Crypto IOS

Hi Friends,

I have a Cisco 3020 blade switch with HP Server, It IOS image is cbs30x0-ipbase-mz.122-50.SE3.bin. I'm unable to enable the Crypto (SSH).

I checked on the Cisco site it having the Crypto image separetly. my question is if i download this image and upgrade with my switch will it work or do I need the any license for this.

You need to use the Crypto image to use the SSH features.

EG:

cbs30x0-ipbasek9-tar.122-50.SE5.tar

Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP cryptographic image file and device manager files. This image has the Kerberos and SSH features.

No you dont need.
