Does a 3550 EMI support rate limiting?

I cant seem to find any info on this. I am planning to use a 3550 to aggregate a few 2924xl switches via 802.1q trunks. The 3550 will be used for routing. The goal is to be able to limit certain ip's to set bandwidth (1mb) and since the 2924's cant do it, then I need the 3550 to do it. Is this possible?

Thanks.

Hi,

You can configure the QOS policing on 3550. If there is certain amount of traffic excedded as per the ACL matched, it will be dropped.
