does the "tftpdnld -u" command exist on 2851 rommon

I have a 2851 router that lost the compact flash card today. The current rommon version does not support the usbflash, so I have been trying to update the rommon version. on different sites I have read that you use tftpdnld -u to upgrade that, but the -u option does not exist on my version of rommon, only the -r option, which does not work.

I have also tried to use tftpdnld -r to copy the ios image but it keeps timing out in the middle of transfer.

any hints?

Well, I ended up doing this in a round about way. I found a smaller IOS file that was only 18 megs instead of 34 megs, and used tftpdnld -r and got it to boot into IOS, so I could upgrade the ROMMON.

Unfortunately the flash card wouldnt format, so it must be fried.
