I would like to purchase 6 SFP+, the problem is that it exist a lots of counterfeiting everywhere on the web.

They look genuine but they are also OLD.

I think the "newest" one is about 2 years old and the oldest one is about 12 years old.

I don't believe these are SFP+. They are more like old model SFP and they don't support DOM.

But on paper, each model listed are SFP-10G-SR, how can it be possible ?

Tell the seller to send you the picture of the SFP/SFP+ with the serial number.
DOM = Digital Optical Monitoring.

Hello,

in addition to Leo's post, where did you get these serial numbers from ? The only way to check them is to get them from the switch, the command (used to be) 'show idprom interface'. 

If the serial numbers are just listed on a vendor's site they still doesn't mean anything. To be on the safe side, don't ever prepay anything, check the devices upon delivery, also google for the vendor's name, if they are counterfeit, chances are high that someone else who has dealt with them before will post about it...

Insert into the switch and watch the logs. If they're genuine, nothing will appear. If they are fake, the logs will tell you.
