dot1p ( CoS) frames monitor session

Hello all,

i'm trying to get the dot1p tagged frames on my wireshark , these frames are going out of my 440x controller that is connected through a trunk to my 3750 switch. When I enter the following CLIs:

SW-3750-2(config)#monitor session 1 source interface gigabitEthernet 1/0/25

SW-3750-2(config)#monitor session 1 destination interface gi 1/0/1 SW-3750-2(config)#$sion 1 destination interface gigabitEthernet 1/0/1 ?

, Specify another range of interfaces

- Specify a range of interfaces

encapsulation Set encapsulation for destination interface

ingress Enable ingress traffic forwarding

<cr>

my monitoring station receive frames untagged in the wireshark. Do I need to change the registry of my LAN adapter to see the dot1p coppied frames?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best ,

Michal

Re: dot1p ( CoS) frames monitor session

Replace the 'switchport voice vlan dot1p' command with the 'switchport voice vlan x'command where 'x' is the vlan designated for voice traffic.
