Dual ISP with Round Robin DNS

Hi,

Basically we have the scinario where our server has a DNS entery for two Public IP addresses (each from a different ISP), our service provider is configuring a round robin dns.

The router has two DSL internet connections, and has a default route to ISP1, How can we tell the router to route the traffic back to ISP2 if it comes from their (depending on the round robin), and not use the default route listed in the routing table.

Traffic Flow:

Outside User>Router>Server

Thanks

Hello ,

You can use track configuration for active/passive setup for using ISP loadbalancing , If ISP one fails automatically the traffic will move to ISP 2.

Or you can use routemaps in firewall for active/active configuration for both the links.

Hope to Help !!
