Duplicate MACs in interfaces vlan

I have two switches core with reference 6504 and 4506. I have a doubt because in all interfaces vlans of switch 6504 appears mac address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx and in all interfaces vlans of switch 4506 appears mac address yyyy.yyyy.yyyy. This behavior is normal? in case opposite what would be possible cause of it?

Thanks for your help

Re: Duplicate MACs in interfaces vlan

Yes it is normal for the switch to use the same MAC address for all layer 2 ports for a given module and another MAC for all layer 3 ports.  The Vlan interfaces use the layer 3 MAC.  More info:
