See attached file for more information:
========================================
%EARL_L3_ASIC-DFC2-3-INTR_WARN: EARL L3 ASIC: Non-fatal interrupt Packet Parser block interrupt and other errors are seen in the swithch log and eventually the message saying:

Nov 7 01:20:24: %OIR-SP-3-PWRCYCLE: Card in module 1, is being power-cycled Off (Module Reset due to exception or user request)
Nov 7 01:20:24: %C6KPWR-SP-4-DISABLED: power to module in slot 1 set Off (Module Reset due to exception or user request)
Should I replace the WS-X6704-10GE in slot 1?
Can I use it's original WS-F6700-DFC3B on a spare WS-X6704-10GE or do I need to change the WS-F6700-DFC3B as well at the same time.
Also - what is the difference between a WS-F6700-DFC3A and a WS-F6700-DFC3B. This is the first time I am seeing the "DFCB" flavour of this card. Is it the memory size that is different between the "DFC3A" and "DFC3B" cards?

Hi ,
Replace the WS-X6704-10GE which is in slot 1.It is problem with line card.
The Cisco? Catalyst? 6500 Series Distributed Forwarding Card 3 (DFC3), including WS-F6700-DFC3A (DFC3A), WS-F6700-DFC3B (DFC3B), WS-F6700-DFC3BXL (DFC3BXL), is an optional daughter card for CEF720-based line cards such as WS-X6704-10GE, WS-X6724-SFP, WS-X6748-SFP, and WS-X6748-GE-TX. The DFC3 provides localized forwarding decisions for each line card and scales the aggregate system performance to reach up to 400 mpps. The new DFC3B and DFC3BXL offer enhancements to support Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Access Control Entries (ACE) counters on the Cisco 6700 Series line cards. The DFC3BXL also has improved scalability to support one million IPv4 routes and 256-KB NetFlow entries.
Hope it helps you.
Thanks,
satish
