Eigrp and Igrp routes

Do these two protocols also learn about only directly connected routes like rip.

As I understand it, EIGRP and IGRP will establish neighbour relationships & send/receive routing advertisements on the directly connected networks matched by network statement.

In this context, RIP,OSPF,IGRP & EIGRP behave the same way.
