Access switch is running dual L3 uplinks to the distribution switch. All routes are being advertized to the access switch that only has 2 local networks. Is it best practice to apply an ACL at the distribution port to only allow the default route to the Access switch.
Looking for any info on EIGRP stub best practices..

Make the access L3 switch a EIGRP stub router. This way the distribution switch doesn't query the access switch for any networks that it wouldn't have been learning from another source.
Advertise only the default route from the distribution switch - you can do this by using either distribute list to allow default route only or use 'ip summary-address eigrp' command on the distribution switch.
