Hi all , I would like to seek help on the following:

|

|

172.30.1.0/24 |---R1---R2---R3

| |

| |

|

|

-----------

172.30.2.0/24

May i know for the above diagram, with R2 connected as stub. R1 , R2 and R3 are running EIGRP on their connected interface. May i know what routes would be in R3 local topology table.

Please help to advice. Thanks in advance.

Just a carification to the diagram the 172.30.1.0/24 network is behibd R1 and the 172.30.2.0/24 is behind R2. Thanks

It actually depends on how R2 is configured for Stub routing. If you have not used any configurable option with the EIGRP Stub command then, I think only the default route will be propogated to R3 by R2 as R1 will generate the default route to R2 which is an EIGRP stub router. If you are using the configurable option like connected, static, Summary and receieve-only then depending upon the option the same routes will be seen in R3's topology table.
