eigrp summarizing

Can anyone tell me, if I want to summarise on my interface for eigrp, if say router A has learnt from router B 20 routes, if on router A I have another interface to another network, would I summarize on this interface the 20 routes in the routing table learnt from another router ?

Hi Carl

You can disable auto summarization (no auto-summary) and enable summary-address command on the interface, to summarize the route out that interface:

interface serial 0

ip summary-address eigrp 100 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0

router eigrp 100

no auto-summary
