EOL Question

I have a Cisco WS-6509 switch.

It contains 5 ea. WS-X6748-GE-TX ethernet cards.

                1 ea. WS-SUP720-BASE

                2 ea. WS-CAC-2500W Power Supplies.

I have been told that the enhtire switch has been End-Of-Lifed.

All my research points to just the WS-SUP720 thet is EOL.

Can anyone verify this for me?

Thanks...

The EOL or EOS?  For the latter, reference might be concerning a non-E 6509, i.e.: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps708/ps711/index.html,

Not sure, without checking, status on the CAC-2500s.  re: Sup720, much depends on the actual variant.

Believe the 6748 line cards are still current.

You often need to be precise in component identification, as same part with as little as a letter suffix might be current and the original variant no longer current.
