EOS and EOL Announcement for the Cisco IOS Hybrid Software Release 12.2SX

I have a 6500 with dual sup32 which the call-home service is making the statement that we are running a Hybrid software. Is this referring to the bootstrap/ROMMON code? If so which "IOS Native" code should I upgrade to? Thanks

Hybrid means CatOS/IOS combination. CATOS for L2 switch with IOS (Hybrid) for MSFC.

Can you tell me what is your IOS version.

Thanks

We are currently running version IOS 12.2(33)SXH4. No CatOS.

Hey jon,

Sorry I was just running a test, I can't see any updates or new conversations from Nov 17th on.

would you know why that is?

Brent

Where have you been

The whole site has been updated and while they made the switch the old site was read only for 3 days hence the reason there are no updates etc. between the 17 and 19th,

Yeah, man I feel so out of touch ..

I just got a new job and it's keeping me so busy ... even when I have questions that I want to post here LOL ..

Hope you're well and thanks for answering my posts!

Hello Chris,

this means Call home is not working well in your system I would suggest you to open a service request.

Being a new feature it may happen

Hope to help
