err-disabled bpduguard | Switch to Switch

Hello everybody.

I'm having 2 switches that runs the network.

However, i want to create a seperate VLAN 2000 for port 48 & 52 on switch 1.

The same on switch 2.

Switch1 Port 52 --------------connected-------------Port52 Switch2

When i do this, Port52 on Switch 2 gets in the following state: err-disabled bpduguard

How can i solve this? At the and i just want an independent VLAN with these ports.

Thanks for any hints!

Hi,

What is the configuration of a port52 on both switches? Do you have portfast enabled there by any chance?

Kind Regards,
Ivan

Actually I just solved it -  i just created a trunk between 52 and 52 and allowed only VLAN2000 - this did the trick.

Thanks.

Great! thanks for update on that.

Kind Regards,
Ivan
