Hi All,
Does anyone know what does this mean?
FastEthernet0/11 is down, line protocol is down (err-disabled)

The system has many reasons to errdisable a port ;) Read command ref. about "errdisable detect cause" command.

Hi,
This is a general error condition when a port has been disabled by the Catalyst Switch.
Maybe this is a STP or ARP Security issue.
You could use something like this to enable the reporting of more specific cause that disable the port
(config)#errdisable detect cause

Gabriele
