Error MSG:DTP-4-PKTQFULL:DTP internal queue dtpPktQ full

Dear All,

Few minutes ago I have got on my 6500 ver 6.3 the error in object, than I have lost both the MSFC2 modules.

After I have found that a colligue has connected an Hub to the 6500, on it there was a loop due by a rj45 cable, I have disconect the Hub and the L3 start to work again.

Someone can explain why?

it indicates that an overflow occurred in the DTP internal packet queue due to an abnormal condition

May be the following one of the reason:

1. excessive traffic /stp loop (the most likely)

2. trunk flap

3. trunk misconfiguration
