Hello,

This message usually appears because your NVRAM is corrupted. This could be the result of a hardware failure or software writing it incorrectly.

Can you try the following command:

erase nvram or erase start

Then, reload the device and try again. Let us know how it goes.

Hi,

These error messages usually indicate a hardware failure. To verify, issue the test memory command. This is an example of the command output:

Router#test memory

Test NVRAM card [y/n] ? y

Failed

Issue the write erase command and reload the router. If the issue persists, the hardware will need to be replaced.

Thanks,

Satish
