Etherchannel 1 HP Server between 2 3560 Switches

All,

I hope you can help with this.

I have a Domain Controller with 2 NICs that are plugged into 2 3560 switches.

I need to increase the throughput to the Server but also keep it on both switches in case one fails.

Can I Etherchannel across 2 switches for both NICs?

I do have the option of buying more NICS

Hi James,

as far as I know, cross switch Etherchannels are not supported on 3560 switches, But if you have 3750 switches in a Stack then you are able to achieve. Perhaps you can add 2 more nics and then confgure 2 nics (etherchannel) in each switch.
